    Beef Taco Salad & Taco Soup

    Beef Taco Salad and Taco Soup
    Two meals! The second meal is made out of the leftovers of the first!
    What you will need:
    5 Lbs. lean ground beef
    3 packets mild Taco Seasoning
    ½ Cup water
    2 16oz cans black beans
    2 16oz cans kidney beans
    3 Large ripe tomatoes
    1 green pepper
    1 head iceberg lettuce
    1 Large bag Nacho Cheese Doritos
    1 bottle creamy French dressing (or favorite dressing)
    1 16oz cans whole kernel corn
    1 white onion
    1 6oz can tomato sauce
    1 30oz can diced tomatoes
    2 cups water
    Sour cream (optional)
    your choice of shredded cheese (optional)
    Chopped Chives (optional)
    This is a recipe for two dinners, the first recipe is a taco salad it is one of my husband’s favorite meals!
    The second is the left over taco salad ingredients plus a few other ingredients to make my slow cooked taco soup!
    To start out, place the ground beef into a large frying pan and cook through. While the beef is cooking, wash and chop the green pepper and tomatoes.

    First, place the chopped marinated steak into a frying pan and cook on medium heat until cooked through. I like to drain half way through and then continue to cook it until done. Next, put the vegetable oil into a frying pan with the tortillas to warm. Remove them after they cook for about a minute on each side. When finished, place them on paper towels to remove some of the oil.
